Research: My NIA R21 grant is a collaborative effort between community participants, investigators in Health Professions and Public Health from our college, and also from Public Health at Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, and is steered by an expert advisory committee.
The diversity of thought, experience and training from the multidisciplinary team, the breadth of knowledge from community participants, the wisdom from my advisory committee and the selfless giving of our treasured research participants, fuel my work on a daily basis. This project would not have been possible without the contribution of these individuals or groups. The act of collaboration that I experience through this research culminates powerful synergies with many advantageous outcomes for all involved.
